Acceptable Use Policy
Version of October 6, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service of Ojelio, run by Udooku LLC. It says what may not be made into a video, how content is checked, and what happens when content is refused. It applies to everything you submit: text, titles, links and the pages they lead to, pictures, uploaded images and music, the descriptions of styles and characters, and the edits you make to a script.
1. The principle
Ojelio turns articles into videos, and articles may be about hard subjects. News, education, history, analysis, commentary and fiction that report on, explain or tell stories about wars, crimes, terrorism, disasters, drugs, illness, suicide prevention or sexuality are allowed. What matters is what the video would do, not what it mentions.
What is not allowed is content that is itself harmful, as described below.
2. Content we do not make into videos
Content is refused when it:
- Sexualizes minors — sexualizes anyone who is or appears to be under 18, in any way. This is never allowed, and we report it to the authorities (see section 6).
- Is sexually explicit — is pornographic, shows explicit sexual acts, or shows nudity for arousal.
- Shows graphic violence — shows or describes gore, mutilation or extreme cruelty in vivid detail for its own sake, including pictures of real gore.
- Promotes violent extremism — praises, promotes or recruits for terrorist or violent extremist groups or acts, or calls for violence.
- Is hateful — attacks, dehumanizes or calls for the exclusion of people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
- Harasses — threatens, bullies, doxxes or demeans a specific real person, or sexualizes a real person without their consent.
- Encourages self-harm — encourages or instructs suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Gives dangerous instructions — gives operational instructions for weapons capable of mass harm, explosives, making hard drugs, or serious crimes such as fraud or breaking into someone else's computer systems.
3. Styles and characters
A workspace can describe its own visual style and an invented recurring character. Their names and descriptions are refused when they, in addition to the categories above:
- name a living artist, illustrator, photographer or studio, or ask to imitate their style. Art movements, periods and techniques (impressionism, ukiyo-e, watercolor, 1970s film photography) are fine;
- name or describe a protected character, franchise, brand look or logo;
- name or describe a real, identifiable person, or ask for a likeness of one. Characters must be invented.
Ojelio has no voice cloning: videos are read by a set of synthetic voices we provide.
4. Other uses that are not allowed
You must not use Ojelio to:
- deceive: present a video as a real recording of a real person or event, impersonate a person or organization, or make misleading content about elections, public health or emergencies;
- infringe rights: use text, pictures or music you have no right to use, or break trademark, privacy or image rights (see the Copyright Policy);
- expose other people's personal data without a lawful basis;
- do anything illegal, or promote illegal goods or services;
- send spam, phishing or malware, or link to them;
- get around our screening, limits, credits or watermark, open several accounts to get more free credits, or share an account;
- overload, scrape or attack the Service, or access it by automated means other than the features we provide for that;
- use the Service or its outputs to train or build an AI model or product that competes with Ojelio or with our providers;
- break the usage policies of our AI providers, which we apply through this policy.
5. How content is checked
- Before anything is made, the title, the text, the article's pictures and any uploaded image are read by an AI model against this policy. The words of a style or character are checked when they are tested and when they are saved. Edits made in the review of a script are checked when they are approved.
- Our providers have their own safety filters. A video they refuse is treated as refused by us.
- These checks are automated. They can be wrong both ways. If you believe content was refused by mistake, write to legal@ojelio.com with the link to the video: a person will review it and answer within 7 days.
6. What happens when content is refused
- The video is not made, nothing is charged, and the reason (the categories above) is shown on the video's page. A refused video cannot be started again.
- Three refusals of content you submitted within 24 hours pause your creation of videos, styles and characters for 24 hours.
- Serious or repeated breaches can lead us to remove content, limit features, or suspend or close the account or workspace, as the Terms of Service describe.
- Content that sexualizes minors is refused and kept only as the law requires (one year), the account is suspended at once, and after a person's review the content is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the competent authorities, and the account is closed. Content the screening model declines to read is handled the same way until reviewed.
- We keep a record of each decision (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Reporting
To report a video or content on Ojelio that breaks this policy, write to legal@ojelio.com with the link and the reason. For copyright, follow the Copyright Policy.
