Copyright Policy
Version of October 6, 2026
Udooku LLC respects the rights of creators and expects everyone who uses Ojelio to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us that something on Ojelio infringes your copyright, how we act on it, and what happens to repeat infringers. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. What this covers
Content submitted to Ojelio (text, imported pages, pictures, uploaded images and music) and the videos made with it, whether private to a workspace or shown publicly.
2. Notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Send copyright notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, Udooku LLC 453 S Spring St Ste 400, Los Angeles, CA 90013, United States legal@ojelio.com
A notice must be in writing and include (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or as authorized to act for the owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- identification of the material on Ojelio you say is infringing, with enough detail to find it (for example the link to the video);
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
3. Counter-notices
If material you submitted was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent, including (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where Udooku may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.
4. Notices from Brazil
Rights holders may also notify us under Brazilian copyright law (Law 9.610/1998), in Portuguese, at legal@ojelio.com, identifying the work, the material on Ojelio, and their ownership or authorization. We remove material that clearly infringes on receiving such a notice, without waiting for a court order, and we tell the person who submitted it, who may answer.
5. Notices from the European Union
If you are in the European Union, your notice may also follow article 16 of the Digital Services Act: explain why the material is illegal, give its exact location (link), your name and email address, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete. We will confirm receipt, decide diligently, and inform both you and the person who submitted the material of our decision and the reasons for it.
6. Music
- Ojelio's built-in music tracks are made by Udooku and licensed for use in videos made with Ojelio.
- A track uploaded by a workspace must be one the uploader has the rights to use in published videos; the uploader confirms this when uploading, and the statement is recorded.
- On a valid notice about an uploaded track, we remove the track and the videos made with it, and tell the workspace.
7. Styles and characters
Ojelio refuses custom styles that name living artists or imitate protected characters, brands or logos, and characters that depict real people (see the Acceptable Use Policy). If you believe an output imitates your work or your character, write to us as in section 2.
8. Repeat infringers
We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts and workspaces of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. As a rule, an account that is the subject of three valid notices within 12 months is closed, and so is any account that infringes deliberately. Notices withdrawn, or reversed after a counter-notice, do not count.
